We Care About Your Privacy

In a nutshell: I don’t sell, share or give away your data or personal details. I don’t throw away any handwritten data – it is all destroyed.

Disclaimers include: 

  1. Marc One won’t give a credit reference about you unless you authorize it. 
  2. Marc One complies with court orders, federal investigators, and things which might prove you did something you should not have.
  3. Marc One is a discrete dealer but in the coin shop other customers could overhear what you buy and/or sell.
  4. Marc One complies with federal anti-money laundering rules.
  5. Marc One complies with cash transaction reporting rules. Marc One files CTR’s for any sale over 10k paid in cash and/or combined instruments from a single person(s).
  6. Marc One does not use facial recognition technology with the coin shop cctv’s technology. However; for security purposes, this could change at any time. 
  7. Marc One uses “big” companies to keep the online site safe. Certain parts of this website are maintained by these third parties, who work hard to keep your information secure. We share information with these third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you, i.e. checkout with PayPal, your credit card, etc. 

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Marconeinc.com collects personal data from users and site visitors. This may include personal data, such as name, email address, personal account preferences; transactional data, such as purchase information; and technical data, such as information about cookies.

Personal data is not just created by a user’s interactions with the site. Personal data is also generated from technical processes such as contact forms, comments, cookies, analytics, and third party embeds.

We use third party plug-ins to make the website functional. These plug-ins have their own privacy policies. We use: WordPress, WooCommerce, EWWW Image Optimizer, Gravity Forms, WP Mail Logging, Google Site Kit and Akismet Anti-spam. By default WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users.

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

When You Text Us – SMS Policy – SMS Consent

We use a third-party service provider (RingCentral) for Marc One’s textable number (209) 330-9578. By messaging this number, you agree to RingCentral’s privacy policy (here). 

By texting (209) 330-9758, you consent to receive SMS responses from Marc One by text message or possibly by a phone call. SMS consent or phone numbers are not shared for the purpose of SMS with third party or affiliates. Furthermore, your number will not be used for promotions or newsletters. Message and data rates may apply. MSG frequency varies. To opt out of receiving texts from us at anytime, reply STOP. If you have questions about this service and privacy, reply HELP.  

When you text us, we will receive Personal Information. “Personal Information” is information that individually identifies you, such as your mobile phone number. When you send text/SMS messages via this service, we will also collect this messaging history and any information included in those messages. 

Marc One will not rent or sell your Personal Information to other companies or individuals. We may use or disclose Personal Information in any of the following limited circumstances mentioned in the disclaimers in the above section titled ‘We Care About Your Privacy’. 

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.
